DMF880 Macro Controller + Twin Flash System
Tumax, the brand name of a leading flash manufacturer, introduces the DMF880 TTL flash unit with built-in macro controller. This dual-purpose flash unit can act as a medium power TTL flash unit or as the control unit for the DMT twin flash set.
DMF880 TTL flash unit
The DMF880 is an auto TTL flash unit with built in macro controller. The unique duel use of nature of the DM880 makes carrying an extra flash unit unnecessary for most situations.
The DMF880 can operate as a normal auto TTL flash unit for most digital SLR cameras and is available for TTL use with Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax and Sony. Powerful for it’s size, the DMF880 has a guide number of 104 ft.
There is a socket on the side of the flash unit to attach the power/sync cord to the DMT. The DMF880 also has a power switch above the socket to turn the power to the DMT on and off.
DMT macro twin flash units
The DMT is a set of macro flash units having a guide number of 19.7 ft. each. These compact units are very lightweight due in part to not needing to have internal batteries. The DMTs receive their power from the DMF880 Flash/macro controller though the power/sync cord, because of this each flash weighs less than 5 oz. The DMT flash units each have a standard hot-shoe style foot for mounting to the QMM1 or other places.
The DMT flash heads can tilt up 90&Mac176; for even more creative lighting options.
The DMF880 TTL flash/macro controller + DMT twin flash are available as a set for Canon E-TTL, Nikon i-TTL, Olympus TTL, Pentax P-TTL, Sony ADI.
